Niger State Government has sealed a partnership agreement with an International Agricultural Company, Jade Partners for the production of sesame on 5,000 Hectares.

The agreement was sealed in conjunction with Niger Foods and Security Systems and Logistics Ltd at the Government House Minna.

The project, supported by the Niger State Government seeks to empower local farmers with modern farming techniques, inputs, and guaranteed off-take for their harvests including creating job opportunities for the teeming populace and increasing sesame output all aimed at transforming Niger State into a hub for high-quality sesame cultivation.

Niger State Governor Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago says the agreement is a reflection of the State Government’s commitment to driving agricultural development and creating opportunities for the people.
