The Niger State Government is expecting the delivery of another 200 tractors and other farm implements.

Niger Foods has begun the training of 200 tractor operators in anticipation of the 200 tractors expected to be delivered next week.

As part of the women affirmative inclusiveness in all sectors of Governor Umaru Bago’s administration, more women have been included in the ongoing training.

They are being trained in the operation of tractors, harvesters, tillers, warehousing, packaging, and other farming techniques.

After the training and certification, the trainees will be deployed to various local government areas of the state to partake in the agricultural mechanization agenda of the governor.

Niger is ready to feed the nation.
