Synergos, under the AGRA initiative, has successfully conducted a comprehensive one-day capacity-building training for the staff of Niger State Foods Security Systems and Logistics Company Limited (Niger Foods). The intensive training provided practical, hands-on guidance on data collection, documentation, analysis, and reporting. Central to the curriculum was the mastery of Niger Foods’ proprietary software solutions, including AgriSuite for smallholder engagement, the Warehouse Management System (WMS), and internal incident management systems.

By linking everyday monitoring forms directly to internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), the training directly supports Niger Foods’ commitment to maintaining its recently achieved International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certifications, which include:
ISO 22000:2018: Food Safety Management System
ISO 9001:2015: Quality Management System
ISO 14001:2015: Environmental Management System
ISO 45001:2018: Occupational Health & Safety Management System

Speaking during the opening session, Synergos Representative Mr. James Ezekiel emphasized the transformative power of high-quality data, urging participants to maximize the learning opportunity and apply these insights to their daily responsibilities.

By embedding robust M&E structures, Synergos and Niger Foods under the Agra program are establishing a framework for long-term food security and efficient agricultural logistics in the region.
