CBM Developments, represented by its Chairman, Ms. Telia J. Urey, and Niger State Government signed an agreement for the irrigation development of 50,000 hectares of Land for agriculture in Niger. The Project is called: The Niger Irrigation Infrastructure Advancement Scheme.

CBM Developments is an agricultural development company in Nigeria that specializes in irrigation development. It represents Alkhorayef Group, a Saudi Arabian conglomerate.

In the presence of the Executive Governor, His Excellency Mohammed Bago, the agreement was signed by Ms. Telia Urey and Mr. Sammy Adigun, The Executive Chairman of Niger Foods – the state-owned Agriculture Development Vehicle.

This project will be funded by Saudi EXIM Bank and Nexim Bank through a credit line that was extended to NEXIM in November 2023

This development seeks to boost agriculture development in the state.
