Representatives from Biomandegar, Iran’s largest and most advanced bovine embryo production center, have completed a high-level strategic visit to the Tagwai Feedlot and Breeding Centre in Niger State.
Biomandegar is a global leader in bovine in vitro fertilization (IVF) and ovum pick-up (OPU) technologies. The institution maintains an extensive, high-yield genetic embryo bank featuring world-class dairy, beef, and dual-purpose cattle breeds, including Holstein, Jersey, Fleckvieh, and Limousin.
The Tagwai Feedlot and Breeding Centre, a key initiative championed by Executive Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, features expansive center-pivot irrigation systems for year-round fodder production.
The integration of Biomandegar’s bovine IVF technology will accelerate the state’s transition toward becoming a premier producer of high-quality, commercial-grade Halal meat and dairy products.
